Good thing I’m not wearing the Mando costume for Halloween.

I put the soft parts (vest, cape, flight suit) in the wash, and pretty much trashed the vest.

Velcro came off (though I was probably gonna rearrange that stuff anyways), and since I’m an idiot about sewing, all the edges are frayed (hem?  what’s a hem?).

So, vest Mk.3 will be something I work on after a little more research/sewing practice, or I may just order one online, custom made.

I’m leaning toward ordering one.

I’m sore from my right shoulder and down my back.  Too much in my Jack Sack on the way home.

Project update:

  • purchased another flight suit, smaller size, fits better.  Anyone need a mens size medium, navy blue flight suit?
  • still waiting to hear back about the status of my helmet
  • Sore shoulder/back: not gonna work on the vest tonight
