Spinning off from a ‘top five films of the last ten years’ list comes this new ranking.
I’m not a big Roger Moore fan, even though I grew up during his time as Bond.
My parents would watch Connery’s films on the ABC Sunday Night Movie, Thunderball being the first one I remember watching, which is why it ranks high on my list.
- On Her Majesty’s Secret Service
- Thunderball
- From Russia with Love
- Goldfinger
- The Living Daylights
- Casino Royale
- For Your Eyes Only
- Tomorrow Never Dies
- You Only Live Twice
- Diamonds Are Forever
- No Time to Die
- Skyfall
- Spectre
- Dr. No
- GoldenEye
- License to Kill
- Quantum of Solace
- Die Another Day
- A View to a Kill
- The Spy Who Loved Me
- Live and Let Die
- The Man with the Golden Gun
- Never Say Never Again
- The World Is Not Enough
- Octopussy
- Moonraker
I have not seen the 1967 David Niven/Woody Allen Casino Royale.
All that said, I will still watch (almost) any James Bond film if I come across it on TV or cable, if nothing else is on. Same with the Indiana Jones Trilogy (heh), Star Wars Saga, a handful of Westerns, and most of the MCU (Phases 1-3).
