{"id":1534,"date":"2017-06-21T21:00:43","date_gmt":"2017-06-22T04:00:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/saguisag.com\/blogv4\/?p=1534"},"modified":"2017-06-21T21:00:43","modified_gmt":"2017-06-22T04:00:43","slug":"tire-stuff","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/saguisag.com\/blogv4\/tire-stuff\/","title":{"rendered":"Tire stuff"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As I was leaving work Tuesday, I started backing up my car in the garage, and immediately felt something was wrong.<\/p>\n<p>Behold!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1535\" src=\"http:\/\/saguisag.com\/blogv4\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/tire01.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"497\" height=\"280\" srcset=\"https:\/\/saguisag.com\/blogv4\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/tire01.jpg 497w, https:\/\/saguisag.com\/blogv4\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/tire01-300x169.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 497px) 100vw, 497px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I went to the garage&#8217;s ticket booth, and told the guy that I had a flat. \u00a0He said that I should call AAA myself, which I did, and after 15 minutes on hold, I got through to a person. \u00a0She dispatched a technician, who had no problem finding the garage, and my car on the 3rd floor, after another 20 minutes. \u00a0Another 20 minutes later, and I was on my way with my spare tire in place.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-1536\" src=\"http:\/\/saguisag.com\/blogv4\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/tire02-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"525\" height=\"394\" srcset=\"https:\/\/saguisag.com\/blogv4\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/tire02-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/saguisag.com\/blogv4\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/tire02-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/saguisag.com\/blogv4\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/tire02-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/saguisag.com\/blogv4\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/tire02.jpg 1440w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 525px) 100vw, 525px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Once I got home, I took a look at the tire, and found a screw in it. \u00a0Arrgh.<\/p>\n<p>This morning I decided to get the tire fixed, but when I brought it to one local garage, they said that they wouldn&#8217;t be able to fix it, because of the location, and that I would need to go to a tire specialist. \u00a0Luckily there was one nearby, where I had my tires changed out for new ones a few years back.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1537\" src=\"http:\/\/saguisag.com\/blogv4\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/tire03.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"533\" height=\"960\" srcset=\"https:\/\/saguisag.com\/blogv4\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/tire03.jpg 533w, https:\/\/saguisag.com\/blogv4\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/tire03-167x300.jpg 167w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 533px) 100vw, 533px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Upon arrival and inspection, the guys at this shop determined that the screw was too close to the sidewall for a repair, so I had to get a replacement tire, which they ordered and would be available around 2:00 pm.<\/p>\n<p>I decided to take a mental health day at that point.<\/p>\n<p>I took my car back after 2:00 pm, and after giving them the 45 minutes that they said that they&#8217;d need to work on it, I returned. \u00a0They then told me that they found 2 nails in my right rear tire, which they were able to patch, and it would take a while longer for the car to get ready.<\/p>\n<p>I paid for the tire and patch, and went home, wondering if someone deliberately placed those nails\/screws under my tires. \u00a0I&#8217;m hoping not.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As I was leaving work Tuesday, I started backing up my car in the garage, and immediately felt something was wrong.
