I was looking at a job opening that has a title that I held maybe 5 years ago: Windows Systems Administrator II.<\/p>\n
I barely have one fifth of the skills listed for that position.<\/p>\n
Part of it is my own fault for not ‘keeping current’, but that’s hard to do when your current job requires less than what you are (or were) capable of doing.<\/p>\n
I don’t think it’s time for any drastic action on my part regarding my job.<\/p>\n
Mainly because I think I missed the boat on that.<\/p>\n
Or the brass ring was never offered.<\/p>\n
Ah well.<\/p>\n
Thankful that I have a job.\u00a0 I guess.<\/p>\n
