{"id":4184,"date":"2020-04-25T22:35:06","date_gmt":"2020-04-26T05:35:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/saguisag.com\/blogv4\/?p=4184"},"modified":"2020-04-25T22:35:38","modified_gmt":"2020-04-26T05:35:38","slug":"accomplishments","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/saguisag.com\/blogv4\/accomplishments\/","title":{"rendered":"Accomplishments"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This is the first Saturday since the Crisis on Earth-Prime began where I feel that I actually accomplished stuff.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>I cut my own hair.<\/li>\n<li>I cleared out and recycled a lot of materials that had been sitting in my closet for about 30 years.<\/li>\n<li>I reorganized and stored a bunch of board games sitting around the living room.<\/li>\n<li>I organized my Battle Mechs into lances and printed up record sheets for them.<\/li>\n<li>I made more Porto&#8217;s stuff in the air fryer.<\/li>\n<li>I found a much more adorable Baby Yoda plush that the one waiting for me at the office.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>And somewhere in between all this I watched <em>The Andromeda Strain<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Overall I think this has been a rough time for everyone.\u00a0 Like everyone I seem to have good days and bad days.\u00a0 But I think I&#8217;ve learned how to mitigate the days.<\/p>\n<p>And I saw something that was quoted by a couple of folks today:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>You are not working from home. You are at home, in a crisis, trying to work.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Which is correct for me for 4 days out of the week.\u00a0 That fifth day in the office is working at work in a crisis.\u00a0 Which surprisingly is relaxing.\u00a0 It&#8217;s as close to &#8216;normal&#8217; that I think I&#8217;ll ever see in the near future, despite the lack of coworkers and traffic and places to eat for lunch.<\/p>\n<p>Hang in there, everyone.\u00a0 We&#8217;re in this together, for as long as it takes.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This is the first Saturday since the Crisis on Earth-Prime began where I feel that I actually accomplished stuff.
