{"id":5010,"date":"2024-05-01T10:16:07","date_gmt":"2024-05-01T17:16:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/saguisag.com\/blogv4\/?p=5010"},"modified":"2024-05-01T10:16:07","modified_gmt":"2024-05-01T17:16:07","slug":"the-bad-batch-finale-spoilers-abound","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/saguisag.com\/blogv4\/the-bad-batch-finale-spoilers-abound\/","title":{"rendered":"The Bad Batch Finale &#8211; Spoilers Abound"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/saguisag.com\/blogv4\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/bad-batch-season-3-official-poster-v0-1zkudusyzyjc1.webp\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-5011\" src=\"http:\/\/saguisag.com\/blogv4\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/bad-batch-season-3-official-poster-v0-1zkudusyzyjc1-691x1024.webp\" alt=\"\" width=\"525\" height=\"778\" srcset=\"https:\/\/saguisag.com\/blogv4\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/bad-batch-season-3-official-poster-v0-1zkudusyzyjc1-691x1024.webp 691w, https:\/\/saguisag.com\/blogv4\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/bad-batch-season-3-official-poster-v0-1zkudusyzyjc1-203x300.webp 203w, https:\/\/saguisag.com\/blogv4\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/bad-batch-season-3-official-poster-v0-1zkudusyzyjc1-768x1137.webp 768w, https:\/\/saguisag.com\/blogv4\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/bad-batch-season-3-official-poster-v0-1zkudusyzyjc1.webp 1000w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 525px) 100vw, 525px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I hate endings of stuff I enjoy watching.<\/p>\n<p><em>Monarch<\/em>, <em>Ted Lasso<\/em>, even recently, <em>Shogun<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>But when it&#8217;s something <em>Star Wars<\/em> related, like <em>Ahsoka<\/em> or <em>Rebels<\/em>, it hurts when it ends.<\/p>\n<p><em>The Bad Batch<\/em> was no exception.<\/p>\n<p>For me, Omega grew as a character this past season.\u00a0 I was less annoyed with her as I was in previous seasons.\u00a0 Heck, I was happy to see where her journey seems to be headed, with that final scene.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m still upset that Tech is (still) dead, but relieved that he wasn&#8217;t revealed to be one of Hemlock&#8217;s shadow operatives.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking of Hemlock, I didn&#8217;t know until I checked the cast credits that Hemlock was voiced by the guy (Jimmi Simpson) who played Logan Pierce in a couple of episodes of <em>Person of Interest<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>I was genuinely sad to see the end of Nala Se, but glad it caused the demise of Rampart and Hemlock&#8217;s database.<\/p>\n<p>It was a nice touch to see Tarkin divert Project Necromancer&#8217;s funding to Project Stardust.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m also kicking myself for not remembering that (Mount) Tantiss was originally from <em>Heir to the Empire<\/em>.\u00a0 It never occured to me to look that up when they first mentioned\/showed the planet.<\/p>\n<p>Overall, I thought it was good finale with a satisfying ending.\u00a0 Clone Force 99 is still around at the time of the Rebellion, and that&#8217;s good enough for me.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I hate endings of stuff I enjoy watching.
