{"id":5123,"date":"2025-05-14T05:53:02","date_gmt":"2025-05-14T12:53:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/saguisag.com\/blogv4\/?p=5123"},"modified":"2025-05-14T05:53:02","modified_gmt":"2025-05-14T12:53:02","slug":"andor-season-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/saguisag.com\/blogv4\/andor-season-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Andor Season 2"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/saguisag.com\/blogv4\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/andor-lat-art-hero-mobile_2dae7c83.jpeg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5124\" src=\"http:\/\/saguisag.com\/blogv4\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/andor-lat-art-hero-mobile_2dae7c83.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"960\" height=\"540\" srcset=\"https:\/\/saguisag.com\/blogv4\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/andor-lat-art-hero-mobile_2dae7c83.jpeg 960w, https:\/\/saguisag.com\/blogv4\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/andor-lat-art-hero-mobile_2dae7c83-300x169.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/saguisag.com\/blogv4\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/andor-lat-art-hero-mobile_2dae7c83-768x432.jpeg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 767px) 89vw, (max-width: 1000px) 54vw, (max-width: 1071px) 543px, 580px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I almost want to put <em>Andor<\/em> ahead of <em>Rogue One<\/em> on my list of favorite <em>Star Wars<\/em> projects, but as I still leave the original 1977 film at the top because everything afterwards came from it, we don&#8217;t get the <em>Andor<\/em> show without <em>Rogue One<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>That said, A<em>ndor<\/em>&#8216;s two seasons was an amazing piece of <del>Star Wars<\/del> storytelling.<\/p>\n<p>And as awesome as the third arc (Episodes 7-9) was, this fourth arc was quieter but told as good a story.<\/p>\n<p>The backstory of Luthen, the rescue of Kleya, the final chapter all hold up to the rest of the series.\u00a0 And while I expected some bittersweet endings, there were some moments of satisfaction with the fate of certain characters we&#8217;ve followed since Season 1.<\/p>\n<p>As for that final shot, that was probably the most satisfying of them all, as a couple of characters who I was most concerned about were shown to be at peace and safe.<\/p>\n<p>When the series ended, Disney+ popped up &#8216;You may also like: <em>Rogue One<\/em>&#8216; and I immediately pressed play to start watching what&#8217;s jokingly referred to as the 2 hour 13 minute post credits scene to <em>Andor<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>I got about a third of the way through before it was about bedtime for me, but I also decided that instead of finishing the film soon, I&#8217;m going to watch the entire <em>Andor<\/em> Saga from Season 1 to <em>Rogue One<\/em>, probably over the rest of the month, and then celebrate the anniversary of Star Wars on the 25th with a viewing of the first film.<\/p>\n<p>As for my overall review of <em>Andor<\/em> Season 2, I&#8217;ll just say that it joins Season 1 as the best <em>Star Wars<\/em> content since <em>The Empire Strikes Back<\/em>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I almost want to put Andor ahead of Rogue One on my list of favorite Star Wars projects, but as I still leave the original 1977 film at the top because everything afterwards came from it, we don&#8217;t get the Andor show without Rogue One.
