Or should I say, comprehend.<\/p>\n

Since Rogue One<\/em> first came out, and more recently with the digital release last Friday, I’ve seen discussions online were people are completely or partially mishearing\/misunderstanding dialogue from the movie.<\/p>\n

Specifically, this exchange:<\/p>\n

Mon Mothma:<\/strong> Despite what the others say, war is inevitable.
\nBail Organa:<\/strong> Yes, I agree. \u00a0I must return to Alderaan to inform my people that there will be no peace.
\nMon Mothma:<\/strong> We will need every advantage. \u00a0Your friend, the Jedi.
\nBail Organa:<\/strong> He served me well during the Clone Wars and has lived in hiding since the Emperor’s purge. \u00a0Yes, I will send for him.
\nMon Mothma:<\/strong> You’ll need someone you can trust.
\nBail Organa:<\/strong> I would trust her with my life.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

People think that the Jedi who they’re referring to either Ezra Bridger or Ahsoka Tano.<\/p>\n

Huh?<\/p>\n

Ezra knows Bail, but\u00a0he did not serve in the Clone Wars.<\/em> \u00a0I don’t even think he was born until long after Revenge of the Sith<\/em>.<\/p>\n

As for Ahsoka, people think they’re referring to her because of that last line, “I would trust her<\/em><\/strong> with my life,” \u00a0which is actually referring to Leia. \u00a0Also,”he<\/em><\/strong> served me well” couldn’t refer to Ahsoka.<\/p>\n

Putting all this together, plus the fact that this movie ends about 5 minutes before the beginning of the first Star Wars<\/em>, how can you not know that they’re talking about Obi-Wan Kenobi?<\/p>\n
