I’m thinking too big.<\/p>\n

I’m thinking that Solo RPGs should be this big grand adventure similar to what happens when a group gets together.<\/p>\n

It shouldn’t be that at all.<\/p>\n

It *can* be, but I may have to work my way up to that.<\/p>\n

I have ideas all the time of what should happen next, but I don’t have to set up the whole game on my tabletop in order to run with it.<\/p>\n

It’s about the journey and what happens next, no matter how big or small or whether or not dice are rolled.<\/p>\n

It’s story telling.\u00a0 I’m trying to tell a story.\u00a0 And I should not let the tools hamper me, they should help or enhance the experience.<\/p>\n

So, as I had noted back in November, the Excalibur<\/em> had run into an Andorian blockade, with hails being ignored and weapons being trained on the ship.<\/p>\n

Commander Saguisag orders the shields raised<\/del> hull polarized and to continue hailing the Andorians.<\/p>\n

“Charge cannons?”<\/p>\n

“No, let’s keep a defensive posture for now.”<\/p>\n

The gambit worked, the Andorians do not fire on the Excalibur<\/em>.<\/p>\n

“We’re being hailed by the lead ship.”<\/p>\n

“On screen.”<\/p>\n

See?\u00a0 Was that so hard?\u00a0 I can do this, I just need to adapt my playstyle to something simpler.<\/p>\n
