Latest from the Trenches"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Tabletop game wise, my scattered focus appears to be on:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Port Royal<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Kill Team 2024<\/li>\n<li>02 Hundred Hours<\/li>\n<li>Gaslands Refulled<\/li>\n<li>Battletech<\/li>\n<li>Steel Rift<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>That last one is a new one that I stumbled upon when browsing Battletech videos on YouTube.<\/p>\n<p>They have a digital quick build starter set, so I figured, why not check it out?<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/deathraydesigns.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Cover.jpg\" alt=\"Quick Build 2-Player Starter Box (Digital)\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I printed the miniatures over the weekend, and skimmed the rules, and it appears to be a pretty solid game.<\/p>\n<p>I may opt for one of the boxed sets of one of the other factions not represented in the starter set, though.<\/p>\n<p>&#8212;<\/p>\n<p>Battletech, of course, is one of those games that I seem to collect\/paint more than play.\u00a0 Hopefully I&#8217;ll change that soon.<\/p>\n<p><img alt=\"May be an image of toy and text that says '30424H'\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&#8212;<\/p>\n<p>Gaslands Refueled is a Car Wars-esque game that uses Hot Wheels and Matchbox cars with 3D printed weapons and armor as playing pieces.\u00a0 This is one that had gone into storage when I moved last year, and I brought it back home and it&#8217;s already captured my imagination again, along with some of my downtime as I reread the rules.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" based on night raids by the SAS vs. the Nazis.<\/p>\n<p>If anything the miniatures can be used in the SAS Rogue Regiment game that I have yet to play, too.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" 40K armies, I still held onto my Kill Team stuff, and so the itch came back for that particular game.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\"
