{"id":1176,"date":"2026-08-04T20:07:05","date_gmt":"2026-08-05T03:07:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/saguisag.com\/d6aar\/?p=1176"},"modified":"2026-08-04T20:07:05","modified_gmt":"2026-08-05T03:07:05","slug":"miniatures-agnositc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/saguisag.com\/d6aar\/2026\/08\/04\/miniatures-agnositc\/","title":{"rendered":"&#8220;Miniatures Agnositc&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This has started to be one of my favorite phrases in a description of any tabletop miniatures game.<\/p>\n<p>As I start to play games like Frostgrave and Rangers of Shadow Deep, I find myself looking at my old D&amp;D\/RPG miniatures to fill in for some of the character models I need for the games.<\/p>\n<p>An unused rogue mini will be a thief in my Frostgrave warband.<\/p>\n<p>One of my paladin minis will be the champion in another warband.<\/p>\n<p>And I&#8217;m sure I&#8217;ll find a purpose for many others of these miniatures.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, instead of scrambling to find enough creaturesfor a given scenario in some of these games, I came up with this simple solution.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-1179 size-medium\" src=\"http:\/\/saguisag.com\/d6aar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/Generic-screenshot-300x300.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/saguisag.com\/d6aar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/Generic-screenshot-300x300.png 300w, https:\/\/saguisag.com\/d6aar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/Generic-screenshot-150x150.png 150w, https:\/\/saguisag.com\/d6aar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/Generic-screenshot-1x1.png 1w, https:\/\/saguisag.com\/d6aar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/Generic-screenshot.png 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m printing a dozen of these guys to proxy *any* creature that my warbands come across.\u00a0 Some of the scenarios call for 5 of a certain type when all I have is 2, so the generic green SFX guys will fill in for the missing creatures.<\/p>\n<p>Stand by!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This has started to be one of my favorite phrases in a description of any tabletop miniatures game.
