{"id":1306,"date":"2018-04-06T09:54:33","date_gmt":"2018-04-06T17:54:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/saguisag.com\/d6s\/?p=1306"},"modified":"2018-04-06T09:54:33","modified_gmt":"2018-04-06T17:54:33","slug":"title-bout-ii-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/saguisag.com\/d6s\/2018\/04\/title-bout-ii-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Title Bout II"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I did a trial run and played out the fight between Joe Louis and Muhammad Ali.<\/p>\n<p>15 rounds, both boxers went the distance without getting knocked down once, although as I played I found myself making mistakes that I corrected as play progressed.<\/p>\n<p>For example, there&#8217;s a trait called &#8216;Killer Instinct&#8217; that gets triggered under certain conditions when a boxer appears to have the upper hand.\u00a0 Joe Louis had this in an early round, but I ignored it, but the result of the round seemed to reflect later rounds when I <em><strong>did<\/strong><\/em> remember to use &#8216;Killer Instinct&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>Both boxers were getting fouls later in the fight.\u00a0 And Louis basically wore Ali down, winning round after round through sheer power.<\/p>\n<p>At the end of the fight, the round by round point tally favored Joe Louis, so I figured he won.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1307\" src=\"http:\/\/saguisag.com\/d6s\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/Joe-Louis.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"526\" height=\"526\" srcset=\"https:\/\/saguisag.com\/d6s\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/Joe-Louis.jpg 526w, https:\/\/saguisag.com\/d6s\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/Joe-Louis-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/saguisag.com\/d6s\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/Joe-Louis-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/saguisag.com\/d6s\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/Joe-Louis-1x1.jpg 1w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 526px) 100vw, 526px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I should come up with some sort of random tournament seeding for this game, starting with maybe 8 fighters who I recognize vs. 8 others who I&#8217;ve never heard of.\u00a0 Round robin style, 16-8-4-2.<\/p>\n<p>I should also review the rest of the rules.\u00a0 Heh.<\/p>\n<p>Stay tuned!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I did a trial run and played out the fight between Joe Louis and Muhammad Ali. 15 rounds, both boxers went the distance without getting knocked down once, although as I played I found myself making mistakes that I corrected as play progressed.
