{"id":2863,"date":"2020-03-12T14:12:50","date_gmt":"2020-03-12T21:12:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/saguisag.com\/d6s\/?p=2863"},"modified":"2020-03-12T14:12:50","modified_gmt":"2020-03-12T21:12:50","slug":"cooperstown","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/saguisag.com\/d6s\/2020\/03\/cooperstown\/","title":{"rendered":"Cooperstown"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>While browsing a couple of online game stores, I came across a ding &amp; dent copy of the Strat-O-Matic Baseball 2019 Hall of Fame set.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-2864 size-large\" src=\"http:\/\/saguisag.com\/d6s\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/stratomatichof2019-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"654\" height=\"436\" srcset=\"https:\/\/saguisag.com\/d6s\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/stratomatichof2019-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/saguisag.com\/d6s\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/stratomatichof2019-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/saguisag.com\/d6s\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/stratomatichof2019-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/saguisag.com\/d6s\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/stratomatichof2019-1x1.jpg 1w, https:\/\/saguisag.com\/d6s\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/stratomatichof2019.jpg 1280w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 654px) 100vw, 654px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I ordered it, because I didn&#8217;t think I had a Hall of Fame card set in my collection.<\/p>\n<p>Turns out I was wrong, I had received a Hall of Fame set as a stretch goal for a Kickstarter for Payoff Pitch Baseball&#8217;s 1933 season.\u00a0 That one is as of 2015.<\/p>\n<p>Out of sight, out of mind.<\/p>\n<p>So now I&#8217;ll have two of these HoF sets, one a few years more recent than the other.<\/p>\n<p>I also bought it as an excuse to try to play Strat-O-Matic again.\u00a0 After all, that&#8217;s what prompted me to build PepsiCo Park in the first place.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ll see about creating an 8-team league with these cards.\u00a0 I don&#8217;t think I did anything with the Payoff Pitch HoF card set.<\/p>\n<p>Stay tuned!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>While browsing a couple of online game stores, I came across a ding &amp; dent copy of the Strat-O-Matic Baseball 2019 Hall of Fame set.
