{"id":3716,"date":"2021-07-08T09:05:30","date_gmt":"2021-07-08T16:05:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/saguisag.com\/d6s\/?p=3716"},"modified":"2021-07-08T09:05:30","modified_gmt":"2021-07-08T16:05:30","slug":"olympics","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/saguisag.com\/d6s\/2021\/07\/olympics\/","title":{"rendered":"Olympics"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Curiosity bit me again, probably because of Olympic fever.<\/p>\n<p>Damn NBC Sports and their Tokyo 2021 commercials.<\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s a games designer named <a href=\"https:\/\/www.robertochiavinigames.com\/\">Roberto Chiavini<\/a> who has a variety of quick-play sports games.\u00a0 His Daring Racers game is a quick, fun game that I&#8217;d been playing for a few years.<\/p>\n<p>One sports sim venue that I&#8217;ve never tried is the Olympic Games, even just something as simple as the decathlon.\u00a0 Chiavini offers the full Olympics from a given year, with all the events played that year, so I decided to try the 1984 Summer Games from Los Angeles, California.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-3718\" src=\"http:\/\/saguisag.com\/d6s\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/6975.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"522\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I should be getting the PDF via email in the next day or so.\u00a0 If I like this one I may get a Winter Games set (1980?) or maybe the 1992 Summer Games.<\/p>\n<p>Stay tuned!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Curiosity bit me again, probably because of Olympic fever.
