{"id":634,"date":"2017-02-22T15:17:33","date_gmt":"2017-02-22T23:17:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/saguisag.com\/d6s\/?p=634"},"modified":"2017-02-22T15:17:33","modified_gmt":"2017-02-22T23:17:33","slug":"1917","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/saguisag.com\/d6s\/2017\/02\/1917\/","title":{"rendered":"1917"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>If there&#8217;s anything I&#8217;m learning from playing this 1917 MLB replay, it&#8217;s that the game was played very differently (obviously) back then.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve started play on day two, and in the game I&#8217;m currently playing (Senators @ Athletics), I just had the weirdest double play that I&#8217;ve ever seen:<\/p>\n<p>Bases loaded, 1 out. \u00a0I try a suicide squeeze, resulting in a strikeout and the runner on third getting caught stealing home.<\/p>\n<p>I think this season replay is teaching me how to play this game better, in general. \u00a0I&#8217;d ignore the solitaire charts in my 1958 replay, and slowly started using them in my 1967 replay, but I&#8217;m using them whole hog in the 1917 replay.<\/p>\n<p>Day two results should be posted shortly.<\/p>\n<p>Stay tuned!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>If there&#8217;s anything I&#8217;m learning from playing this 1917 MLB replay, it&#8217;s that the game was played very differently (obviously) back then.
