One detail I missed on first inspection: an access hatch is molded onto the main body, right below the nose pod.  I assume it’s not to enter the nose pod (Eaglet), since the Eaglet’s exhaust tubes are in the way…

These pictures were taken in RAW format, and converted to .jpg on the computer, instead of within the camera.  There’s more fine detail in these pics (the control panels and different textures on the rocket) than I think I’ve seen on any pictures I’ve taken in just .jpg format.

I always used the large .jpg format in my camera to save space, but with the new 64GB memory card, I can fit over 1500 RAW format photos on the card.
