Just Say Maybe, er, No

Another reason I don’t go back into Star Wars Legion?

Required play area is 6 feet x 3 feet.  I don’t have that kind of room anymore, as an apartment dweller.

I convinced myself not to get into The Baron’s War by reminding myself that I own a game called Blood and Crowns, which is around the same time period.

I further convinced myself not to get into the Lord of the Rings: Journeys in Middle-Earth board game because I have The One Ring RPG and recently picked up the Fate of the Fellowship board game.

While 3D printing squads for 1st Edition Warhammer 40K (Rogue Trader), I’ve found that I may have printed too many Space Marines and Imperial Army and not enough Orks.

The various sources I’ve found online says that early 40K (1st edition) was more skirmish based compared to today’s game (10th edition), consisting of about 20 or less models/miniatures per side.  This explains the 20 1st edition Imperial Army guys that I found in a box, before I moved.

I think I’ve only printed 10 Orks, compared to 20 Space Marines, and 30 Imperial Army.

Keep It Small, Smartypants.

Meanwhile, a game that I pledged on Kickstarter came in, and I really hope to play it before the next shiny object arrives and distracts me from it.

This is supposed to be comparable to Barbarian Prince, a solo TTRPG that was the first one that I had ever played, right before starting The Fantasy Trip/Melee/Wizard with a small gaming group back in freshman year in high school.

Like the old Barbarian Prince game, it comes with a miniature that acts as your in game avatar wherever you you have a map, but I think it also is used in any tabletop battles with the wyverns.

So what’s next?
