Quite possibly the first time I’ve seen it on the big screen since… 1982.
The Orville
I enjoyed it.
I know it’s not for everyone.
The story was your typical sci-fi plot used to introduce the crew/ship/tech/baddies.
The crew was like one of my old role-playing gaming groups in college, when we’d play either Star Trek or Star Wars RPGs, especially the helm and navigator characters.
The ships look like something that I’d make if I were better at computer imaging.
The tech looks like standard future tech, right down to the shuttles and weaponry.
The baddies look like albino Jem’Hadar.
Give it a look.

OMAC Revisited
A week or so ago I finished up the 8 issue original run of OMAC by Jack Kirby, and ordered an OMAC action figure.

I picked up Joseph a little after 9:00am. We got to the convention around 9:30am. A quick trip through will call for our wristbands, a ride up the escalators and we were ready to go.
At 10:00am the doors opened, and we were allowed to go downstairs.
