RE: that ending
If you’ve read Crisis on Infinite Earths, then you should know who Lyla Michaels really is.
Heck, I knew who she was and would possible become when they introduced her in season 1.
aka Blog v4.0
To be honest, I wasn’t expecting much. I had stopped watching about a season or two ago, I think. When was Michael Emerson first introduced?
Anyways, the episode was pretty nuts, with Oliver on a parallel world posing as himself, and all the slight changes on that world due to his absence.
I couldn’t follow the flash forward stuff because I don’t know the background behind these characters. I guess I can either read up or watch a few episodes from last season.
But what really got me was the ending, and the red skies and the antimatter cloud annihilating everything it touches, just like in the comics.
I’m really looking forward to the crossover.
I must have been busy. Or lazy. Both?
I spent part of my weekend cleaning stuff around the house, like the upstairs bathroom, among other locations.
I’ve been hitting my elliptical for about 10-20 minutes for the past week. I hope to make it back up to 30+ minutes, if not more.
I caught up with my TV watching, the CW DC shows are surprisingly keeping me interested. Black Lightning is good, so far.
I used my instant pot TWICE in one weekend, making some chicken in salsa thing, and pork ribs. Both turned out pretty good.
More games that I’ll (maybe) eventually play came in.
More porgs were acquired. And dice.
And it’s almost February. Yikes.
In 1963, DC Comics began an annual crossover story involving the Justice League of Earth-One and the Justice Society of Earth-Two.
It was called “Crisis on Earth-[fill in the blank]”
Details here.
Took a long drive around the Bay Area today, running errands from Gator Games to Fry’s Electronics to Game Kastle Fremont, and finally to Nelson’s place in El Cerrito for our Games Night, this time on International Tabletop Day.
*whew*
I lost track of time at Game Kastle, and along with a traffic delay on 880N, I arrived a little later than I intended to, about 20 minutes after our scheduled start time.
Games were played, food was eaten, and I actually won in a game that I had never in the past.

The Giants lost again. Arrgh.

I’m behind on a couple of shows for the first time in a while. Arrow and tonight’s Doctor Who, I’m probably going to catch them on Sunday.

I’m hearing the siren’s call of some of my sports games again, but not enough to set one up. That may change, though.
Edit: I forgot to hit ‘Publish’ on this one late last night (Wednesday).

I have way too many sports games at this point.
Hell, I have way too many games, period, at this point.
Thing is, I want to play them all, even ones that I haven’t even read the rules for yet, because at some point they appealed enough to me that I actually shelled out monies for them.
Ack.

Arrow was not annoying for the second week in a row. This may be due to the writers getting better, or the addition of Dinah Drake and Talia al Ghul, both of whom added some substance to the story through their observations on Ollie.

Watching the Warriors game, and I STILL am in awe that KEVIN DURANT IS A WARRIOR.

I checked out the first half of Legion on FX. I’ll watch the second half before I make some comment about it.
