To Be Continued?

So Crisis on Infinite Earths Part 3 is setting up a new DCAU?

Which shouldn’t be a surprise, I suppose.

There was plenty for a long time DC fan like me to like.

PLENTY.

There was at least one jaw dropping cameo.

Overall I think it was a pretty good retelling, pulling stuff from previous DCAU projects as a basis for the key story points, which I should have guessed, to be honest.

R.I.P. to all the destroyed Earths, especially Earth-508 and Earth-12.

Looking forward to whatever comes next, in addition to whatever Lucasfilm Animation is supposedly working on.

Calendars

I’m glad Amazon carries them now, and at discounted prices, close to the 25%-50% off that the mall calendar kiosks charge close to New Year’s Day.

The 2018 choices:

I just need to figure out which is for the office, and which is for home.

MoviePass

I signed up for this card a month ago.  I finally used it today.

I saw Justice League for the third time.

I do think it’s weird that you have to be within 100 yards of the theatre in order to pick a movie, but it works okay.

I may try to go see another movie sometime this weekend.  I should have done that all this week since I was off for staycation.  Oh well.

Look, up in the sky…

I loved it.

Sure, it wasn’t perfect.

It was entertaining. It was fun. It was a live action episode of Super Friends.

And that’s all that I wanted.

I really didn’t expect to see it on Thursday night, but after my cousin sent me a text asking if I had seen it yet, and after watching the final battle from Batman v Superman:Dawn of Justice on cable TV, I said “screw it”, bought a ticket online, and dashed off to the movie theatre.

And I still plan to see it Friday morning.

SUPERMAN IS BACK.

Restrained giddiness is the best way to describe how I felt when he showed up at a key moment.

Booyah.

Amazingly, most of the audience stayed for BOTH credits scenes.

They were AWESOME.

The scenes, not the audience.

Justice League

When I was 6 years old, Super Friends premiered on Saturday morning cartoons.

Ever since then I’ve been waiting for the movie that premieres on Friday.

Or Thursday, technically.

Anyways, I’m trying to stay away from reviews and such, even though I personally liked both Man of Steel and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Whoa

Seriously, it’s November?

AND Daylight Savings Time ends this weekend?

Damn.

I need to remind myself to keep blogging here every day until the end of the year, so there’s an entry every calendar day in 2017.

If the Astros win tonight, I’ll be happy for them.  If not, oh well.

Duck the Fodgers.

2 days until Thor Ragnarok.

16 days until Justice League.

I’m excited about both.

Resist

Today I saw a few items during my Target run that I’d usually pick up right away.

But the fact that I have more than a few figures still in their packaging has made me curb my figure purchases.

I simply don’t have room for a lot of this stuff anymore.

Of course, this all goes out the window when Force Friday rolls around.

Deliveries update

The stuff not delivered on Monday, which said it was, arrived on Tuesday.

The stuff delivered today was due for delivery tomorrow (Thursday), except for the stuff that was due today, which did arrive today.

More stuff is scheduled for Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Monday.

That is all.
