The Flash

It was okay.

There were 3 cameos that I wanted that actually happened.  A fourth that was kinda unexpected.

That’s all I’ll say.

2.5 stars out of 4.

Recommended only if you’re as much of a DC fanboy as I am.

A week?

I must have been busy.  Or lazy.  Both?

I spent part of my weekend cleaning stuff around the house, like the upstairs bathroom, among other locations.

I’ve been hitting my elliptical for about 10-20 minutes for the past week.  I hope to make it back up to 30+ minutes, if not more.

I caught up with my TV watching, the CW DC shows are surprisingly keeping me interested.  Black Lightning is good, so far.

I used my instant pot TWICE in one weekend, making some chicken in salsa thing, and pork ribs.  Both turned out pretty good.

More games that I’ll (maybe) eventually play came in.

More porgs were acquired.  And dice.

And it’s almost February.  Yikes.

Crisis Day 2

That was one heck of a story.

Lots of action, with equal parts funny and sad, and an ending that I didn’t expect.

And of course an awesome homage to the Christopher Reeve films.

I totally enjoyed all 4 episodes.

Annoyed

Except for DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, which wraps up season 2 next Tuesday, the rest of the CW DCTV shows are off until the week of April 24th.

*grumble*

Overload II

I’m making up for not getting the Batman Miniatures Game sooner than I did, by picking up a lot of product for it.

Like this guy:

I’m nicknaming him ‘Dammit, Barry!’

Eventful

The last week has been rather eventful, both good and bad.

The CW successfully showed that a multi-night multi-series crossover with superheroes can work.  And it was awesome.

At work a division director was ‘retired’, and a coworker was lost in the Oakland warehouse fire.  And through all that, I’ve actually managed to stay sane.  Angry and upset, but sane.

And other stuff happened.

Right now I’m focused on getting through the rest of this year, with Rogue One and Christmas waiting in the next couple of weeks.

Here’s to an uneventful rest of 2016.
