Mail Call

Two items from PLAAY.com in the mail:

  • History Maker Baseball 5.0 rule book and game book: updated rules/charts and stuff, good prompt to get me back into this game
  • Red White & Blue Racin’ 2018 SCRAM season set: currently running the 2016 season, may get the 2017 season before starting this one

How many racing series can I concurrently run before going nuts?  I’m doing 3 so far.

And perhaps I should also revisit the Bay Area Baseball League, while I’m at it.

Finish What You Started

That’s a goal of mine right now.  Enough sitting on my hands about what I should be playing.  I simply need to get these done before starting something new.

Which is why I’m focusing on the various racing series that I started a couple of years ago.  They have the shortest schedules and an average play time of about 30-45 minutes, so I should be able to finish these fairly quickly.

The Pepsi Cup truck series is the shortest, with 18 races and 5 of them already run.

SCRAM 2016 and Winston Cup 1979 are 30+ races each.

Then I can move on to the various baseball replays, starting with the John D’Acquisto rookie season replay.  And I really want to play and finish the 1967 San Francisco Giants season replay.

There will be pauses for football (NFL/AFL/CFL), boxing, and non-sports games as well.

2016: SCRAM Race #2

March 6, 2016: The Ice Brew 600 @ the Northern Lights Motordome, Northern USA:

Race winner: Austin Bigler, #77 Shinra Electric Chevy

After 2 races (and a long gap between those two races), Geoff Daly, Jr. leads the series by a point over Tom Rossi.

Both Bigler and Rossi started deep in the field (37th and 38th) and made their way to the front to finish 1st and 2nd, respectively.

Next up: the Gulf Oil 500 @ the Gulf Coast Motor Speedway, US Gulf Coast.
