Mach GoGoGo

I’ve decided to focus on finishing up the 2012 SCRAM racing series before dong anything else (baseball, hockey, soccer), mainly because this came in on Wednesday:

I also have the 1960 SCRAM season underway, so I’d like to finish one (or both?) of these before starting another season.

At this rate I may play out all the SCRAM seasons (2012-2023) before getting back to NASCAR seasons for this game.  Maybe alternate between SCRAM and NASCAR?

Stay tuned!

1960: SCRAM Race #3

About time I got back to this series, and the new playmat from PLAAY games makes me want to run more races anyway.

The Dot Cola 100 @ Dixie Regional Raceway, Southern U.S.

Race results and current standings:

Boyce Daly returns from his 2-race suspension and finished 20th.

Elden Briscoe wins from the pole, leading every lap, and hold on to the points lead.

Next: the Sun Coast Capital 500 @ Sun King Speedway.

Stay tuned!

1960: Broncos Replay, Game 2

I played the second game of the season because it’s against my friend Lando’s team, the Bills.

I’ll play the first game next.

Final from War Memorial Stadium:

Since this is a quick play, game, there’s really no stats generated, except for TD passes/runs, XPs made, and FGs made.  So I’ll just keep things simple with the box scores.

Football

Al Wilson released a free print-n-play football game.

Fast Drive Football is a drive-by-drive quick play game.  Each possession/drive is resolve with a single roll of the dice, using charts much like many PLAAY games like History Maker Baseball.

I downloaded the rules, charts, and all the seasons available (more added periodically), and printed the 1960, 1972, and 1981 seasons.

I’ll give it a spin soon, after I go over the rules.  If I have time I may replay the entire 1960 Broncos season, even though I’m going to start with their week 2 opponents as a ‘tutorial’.

And it may be obvious which teams seasons I’ll try to replay for the other two seasons that I printed out.

Stay tuned!
