1930: Giants Replay, Game 1

Oh look, another replay begins.

I picked this season for an unplayed game system that I chose to check out a few months back, and even picked up a book to learn more about it.

Boston Braves @ New York Giants

Final from the Polo Grounds:

Played this one with Season Ticket Baseball, using the basic rules, and it was pretty fun, especially the 4-run rally in the 8th.

This was mostly a chance for me to learn how to play this game, and I like it.  We’ll see how far I get into this replay before finishing any of the others.

It’s been a busy week of 3D printing, building and painting a pitch for Blood Bowl.

It’s about finished, so I think I’ll be playing a couple of games over the next couple of days.

Back to SCRAM 2013, above everything else, and the 1971 Giants replay.

And perhaps a football game.

Golf, APBA Golf

I wonder if anyone has recreated James Bond and Auric Goldfinger for tabletop golf?

I just started playing a match at Harding Park, and already I want to play another match in APBA golf, specifically

Years ago I noted that the APBA All-Time Greats set has both golfers from this movie, so today I decided to order the actual course from APBA, along with a 34-player 2022 update/addition to the All-Time Greats set.

MOAR GOLF!  FORE!

Golf, Revisited, Again

It’s been over a year since I played a golf game, and about the same amount of time since receiving the TPC Harding Park course for ASG Golf.

Since I now live practically next door to the course, I figure it’s high time that I played a round.

Or maybe two, since I have the course in two different golf games (ASG and History Maker Golf).

And I think I can include myself in HMG.
