Got a bunch of new cars today.
I’m going to run a 1970s season, using the solo rules that they introduced last year on the Lacorsa web site.
The drivers/teams:
Same schedule as last year:
Same points system:

The Table Top Sports Games of Chris Saguisag
As much as I enjoyed playing Lacorsa, I felt the pull back to the first Formula 1 racing game I played. But I wanted to stick to the same era as Lacorsa.
Behold, Shapeways with the solution!
These are 4 of the teams/cars that competed in the 1962 Formula 1 Grand Prix season. Left to right:
I’ll paint them up in proper team colors and use the Formula DE boardgame to play out the season.
The teams/drivers:
Stay tuned!
I played out the remaining 6 races in the QRL, here are the full results.
Race 1 – British Grand Prix:
Race 2 – Monaco Grand Prix:
Race 3 – Indianapolis 500:
Race 4 – Swiss Grand Prix:
Race 5 – Belgium Grand Prix:
Race 6 – French Grand Prix:
Race 7 – Italian Grand Prix:
B. Knight won the championship after his victory in the French Grand Prix (Race 6).
Alfa Romeo won the Constructor’s Championship.
BRM will be relegated for the next season, with the Hikita-Banzai Team taking their place.

Yet another racing game is about to come into my possession. Lacorsa.
It’s a card and dice game with race car pawns. It looks cool. And I already set up a season to play.
Only 6 cars get to participate in a race, so I have to figure out how to incorporate 2 more cars, or some kind of qualifying method that disallows 2 cars from each race.
I’ll have it all figured out before I get the game.
Stay tuned!
Hair-brained scheme #76:
The game comes with balance of performance dashboard cards for the GT6 and GT5 cars so they will be on even footing with the GT4 cars.
I’ll come up with a series sponsor, team names/sponsors, car sponsors, etc. Hopefully I’ll get this series kicked of sooner rather than later.
Stay tuned!
The creative part of me wants to build another dice tower, specifically for basketball and hockey table top games.
I’ve made two of these, both specific purpose-built, for baseball and football.
The new one would represent an indoor arena, presumably for basketball and hockey.
I rarely use the football one.
I don’t even play either basketball or hockey on the table top, yet.
But I still want to make another one.
And possibly one for motorsports.
