Senators @ A’s, top of the 8th, 4-3 A’s, 1 out, pitcher’s spot up, decide to use a pinch hitter.
Who then gets hit by a pitch, right after I mutter, “c’mon, Dorn, take one for the team!”
Ah, baseball.
The Table Top Sports Games of Chris Saguisag
I’ve determined that I have less interest in replaying recent baseball seasons.
2017 is no exception, also considering how poorly both the Giants and Mets have done.
As if I didn’t have more than enough in the first place.
And since I’ll be home this weekend, doing ‘prep’ for my colonoscopy next week, maybe I’ll get a chance to play more than I have been.
Stay tuned.

Final from Crosley Field:

Home runs by Tom Haller, Ollie Brown and Jim Ray Hart seal a complete game win for Gaylord Perry.

Felt good to roll a game in this replay, and especially this game system. Ball Park Baseball simply flows smoother and quicker than most of the other games that I play.
Game 50 coming up.
Stay tuned!
September 12, 1984: Pirates vs. Mets @ Shea Stadium

Final from Shea Stadium:

Main highlight of the game was an inside-the-park home run by Lee Lacy. I don’t think I’ve had that happen before in any of my table top games.

No decision for Gooden in the Mets’ win. Record stays at 19-2 (actual record: 16-8)
Next opponent: Gooden vs Rawley @ Veteran’s Stadium
Stay tuned!
