Final from Forbes Field:
The Giants lose their 3rd in a row.
The Table Top Sports Games of Chris Saguisag
I think I get more enjoyment out of creating sports leagues than actually playing them.
The latest: the San Francisco Bay Area League, to be played out in Deadball.
The 8-team league consists of teams from the largest cities in the 8 counties surrounding San Francisco.
The teams and their home stadiums:
Concord Jazz, Six Flags Waterworld Stadium
Daly City Fog, Serramonte Center
Napa Vintners, Bill Buckner Field @ Silverado
Oakland Larks, Lake Merritt Park
San Jose Piranha, Cisco Stadium
San Rafael Porgs, Skywalker Ranch
Santa Rosa Herons, Coddingtown Mall Park
Vallejo Commodores, Sutter Health Park
Play will begin sometime in the future.
Stay tuned!
I want to finish my 1967 San Francisco Giants replay this year.
But I keep getting distracted with the desire to play Title Bout II and Deadball, and that’s just the sports-related games.
I’m trying to put together a tournament schedule with Title Bout II,, but I’m stuck choosing which boxers to use.
And I’m stalled with Deadball because if my desire to create an 8-team league from scratch, from player to team names.
Alas.
So little time.
Final from Candlestick Park:
Dodgers take 2 of 3 from the Giants.
At the All-Star break, the San Francisco Giants have a record of 45-38, which is what their real life record was at the actual 1967 All-Star break.
Next up: after the All-Star Game, the Houston Astros come to San Francisco for a 3-game series, followed by the Cubs for 3 games.
Stay tuned!
