Despite the punishment and injuries sustained (gash over left eye, torn lip), Dempsey managed to score a TKO in the 10th round.

The Table Top Sports Games of Chris Saguisag
I’ve cut back on projects by picking the full season replays that I plan to actually play in the next 3 months or so. This eliminated a few long dormant items on my list, allowing me to focus on what I’m already playing, and also allows me to narrow the choices on what else to play.
I’ve also separated the ‘short’ projects (less than a season, individual pitcher seasons, playoff runs) into their own list.
And of course there’s stuff like the heavyweight boxing tournament in Title Bout II and the Facebook Friends Wrestling Federation in Face to the Mat which are more like casual pick-up games that don’t require a schedule.
I hope to finally tally a game in both hockey and basketball fairly soon.

I have… an abundance of games.
At last count I own about 6 different boxing games, two of which I’ve actually played.
Of the two, I’m doing a tournament in Title Bout II.
But the one I should be playing is DICE Boxing by Gen 1400 Games, simply because of the weight classes available.
Of course, I’d have to print out the boxers I’d like to use, which is the great part about these PDF games, I can print out only the boxers I really need.
I guess I’ll revisit DICE Boxing soon.

I started playing table top games regularly when I decided to get reacquainted with Strat-O-Matic basic baseball.
I though that would be it. The dice tower/tray that I built (PepsiCo Park) was inspired by other player’s Strat-O-Matic-themed creations.
But then, through my brother, I discovered PLAAY Games’ Red White & Blue Racing, which led to History Maker Baseball, which further led to about half a dozen other baseball games that I’ve tried, and almost a dozen more that I haven’t, along with various football, basketball, hockey, soccer, golf, wrestling, and other sports.
Quite a library of games I’ve built up over the years, and who knows when/if I’ll get around to all of them.
But that’s my plan.

I’ve been on a board game kick for the past month, mainly because of a trip to Dice Tower West in Las Vegas, less than a week from the last table top sports game that I played.
That changes this week, of course, what with baseball’s Opening Day in a few days.
Plus I’ll probably get around to the NASCAR and SCRAM racing series that I have running.
And I’ll probably do a boxing match or two in the next week or so.
