1909: On Hold

I came up with the rosters for the Deadball 1909 league, but then decided not to build it further for now, since I still have:

1967 SF Giants season replay
1917 MLB replay
1921 NY Giants replay
1967 Denver Broncos replay
1958 NFL replay
1979 Winston Cup replay
2016 SCRAM season
2016 SCRAM trucks season

on top of the Deadball 2018 SFBAL season.

That’s a lot of stuff. That list doesn’t even include the mini-replays (John D’Acquisto rookie season, Doc Gooden Cy Young season, various Giant-Dodgers replays, MLB Postseason replays, etc.).

And then there’s the occasional golf tournament, wrestling event and boxing match.

And the non-sports table top games.

So little time.

The Deadball 1909 season may or may not ever materialize. At least not in the near future.

1967: NASCAR & USAC Champ Car

Today I learned that the designer for the Daring Racers game has expanded his other racing series options.

I picked up the 1967 seasons for NASCAR and USAC Champ Car.

The 1967 champions in those series were Richard Petty and A.J. Foyt, respectively.

These should be fun to replay.

Two items from PLAAY.com in the mail:

History Maker Baseball 5.0 rule book and game book: updated rules/charts and stuff, good prompt to get me back into this game
Red White & Blue Racin’ 2018 SCRAM season set: currently running the 2016 season, may get the 2017 season before starting this one

How many racing series can I concurrently run before going nuts? I’m doing 3 so far.

And perhaps I should also revisit the Bay Area Baseball League, while I’m at it.
