So I finally pushed myself to learn how to play SSG Basketball, and play the first game of my alternate 1991 NBA Finals.
In this series, Golden State is facing off against Chicago.
6 minutes into the first quarter, the score is tied 21-21. Tim Hardaway has 8 points for the Warriors while Scottie Pippen has 10 for the Bulls.
I really like how easily this game seems to flow.

Having read nothing but the first chart, I set up a Lakers-Warriors match up, rolled the dice (2d10 and 2d6, just like Payoff Pitch Baseball) to see who had control at tip off, rerolled for a shot, and Alton Lister missed a jumper. Sam Perkins grabbed the rebound and that’s where I stopped.
It can’t be THAT easy to play, can it?
I’ll read the full rules later today.

Since I appear to be 2-for-2 on games from Sideline Strategy, I decided to get the PDF version of their basketball game while it’s on sale.
I purchased the 1990-91 season along with it, and I’m going to attempt to rewrite history by playing a Finals series between the Chicago Bulls and the Golden State Warriors.
Hey, the Warriors made the playoffs that year, so why not?
