Almost a year between games in this replay. Hopefully It won’t be that long until the next one.

As always , it took a couple of innings to get back into the rhythm and flow of a game that I hadn’t played in a few months.
The new, printed 1921 season set is a nice upgrade from the old PDF set that I printed 6 years ago. For one thing I think more players are included, for another a team of 1921 Negro Leaguers was included. Not sure what I’m going to do with them yet, maybe have them play each of the MLB teams in the set.

1921: The Return
I just ordered an updated set of the first season that I started playing with Payoff Pitch Baseball, way back in 2014.
I may reread this book to get inspired to play. I played about 33 games in this season replay and will probably continue from that point.
My replay has them well below their actual record, 18-15 vs. 22-11.

Strat-O-Matic: ’62 Giants vs. ’54 Giants
I went back to the roots of my recent table top sports hobby, and played a game with Strat-O-Matic Baseball.
PepsiCo Park was originally constructed from inspiration I found online for Strat-O-Matic players’ dice tower/trays, yet I played very few SOM games with this park, after getting into a plethora of other baseball games, most notably Ball Park Baseball.
I had planned to do a mini-replay/project with 6 teams: 4 Giants, 1 Yankees, 1 Mets.
So here is a game with the 1962 Giants against the 1954 Giants.

I don’t know how often I’ll play this project, I haven’t even come up with a schedule.

A pitcher’s duel, with Pee Wee Reese driving in the only runs in the game for the Dodgers.
This is only the second Payoff Pitch Baseball game that I played using the Fast Action Cards instead of dice. Oddly enough, the first game I played was this exact same game, but scored by hand in a pre-printed score book that was part of the rewards for the Kickstarter campaign for the 1948 season cards. Supposedly there was an issue with that score book, so I put off continuing this replay until I got a replacement, which never came.
I decided to restart this replay since I was only one game in.
